Women empowerment and Female education

Hi all! How are you people doing so far? So! today, I want to share my views regarding this topic, Women empowerment. Before getting into that, I want to discuss few things.

Have you come across sexism lately? What is sexism generally? Still in this 21st century, in our country, India, people still discriminate and stereotype. 'Boys shouldn't express their emotions and cry', 'Don't weep like girls!', 'Girls shouldn't sit like that', 'Girl's shouldn't talk much', 'Girls shouldn't wear this!', 'Girls shouldn't study much' restrictions and stereotyping like this and much more. Who created these? Does this make any sense? Why can't we just treat people equally? It can be a boy or a girl, there is no need to restrict them on what to do and what not to do in their childhood when it comes to expressing their feelings of sadness, true interests, their points of view. For example, If a little boy cries, we shouldn't stereotype him saying he shouldn't cry like a girl! he is after all a human being! when a girl expresses her interests on what she wants to do in her career, listen to her! don't limit her choices.

Now, when we talk about equality, I think of 'Feminism'. Don't cringe! it is a serious matter. People made it look like it is cringy, making it a joke, a cliche, a controversy and the word lost it's value. I want to stress on this point that feminism = Equality. Providing privileges to women equally as provided to men. I admit it there are few differences but, hey!

' When there is no discrimination among men and women, when people respect women without verbal abuse, sexual harassment, simply, there is no need to give special privileges to women. We can maintain equality. It is as simple as that.' Just my thoughts.

Even with so many hurdles, honor killings, racism, violence, gender inequality, gender violence, racism, economic inequality, lack of respect, maternal mortality, misogyny, Women still hustle! they create their own beautiful life for themselves instead of depending on a man.

The most important need for not only women but also for any human is Education. If we educate a human, It is benefited for entire country in some way or the other.

Here are some of my favourite women I came across who initiated efforts for girl's education.

  1. Lilly singh

Lilly singh is one of my favourite youtubers. She not only put smiles on faces of many young people but also began a 'Girl Love' Social media campaign to spread love not hate by complimenting other girls instead of insulting them. With the profits acquired from her uploaded videos, she donated them to Malala fund for young girl's education. She partnered with 'Me to We' organization and helped to send 90% of little girls who reside in Kenya to school. Also, she invested for a product called 'Rafiki' bracelet and provided employment to most women by creating hand-craft jobs to make the bracelets.

The bracelet represents ' It's good to be passionate about girl love but also we should make efforts on doing something about it'

And the employed mothers who are now able to send their daughters to school with their handcrafted jobs claimed, ' The problem is not too big to fix if you start to fix it '.

      2. Michelle Obama

How can we not know about the first lady, Michelle Obama, the wife of first African- American President of the United States, Barack Obama. She is one of the strong women who turned her focus on girl's education. She empowered and made initiatives for education and inspired so many girls encouraging how important education is and asking government to invest more in the particular subject and making it as a worldwide issue.

      3. Malala Yousafzai

Entire world knows about the pakistani woman, a Nobel peace prize laureate and Oxford University graduate who fought for female education bearing all the possible risks like getting shot in her life. We can watch interviews of her in which she explains about all the hurdles and obstacles she faced to initiate the importance of education for young girls. She initiated and created Malala fund for young girls, giving them golden opportunities for education and providing them choices to choose their future and career they like and opt for.

There are many more people like Laxmi agarwal, Amala Akkineni, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, Arundathi Roy, Kiran Bedi, Emma watson and many celebrities, activists and wonderful people who came forward to initiate this problem. I have shared about few people I know, my views and opinions on this matter. when i get to know more, I will add.

It is to make aware of few people who inspire the world about how important Education is.

Meanwhile put up your concerns, views, opinions in the comment section below. These are just my opinions and thoughts. Please don't get offended.

Thank you. See you soon.๐Ÿ˜Š

Hope you have learned something new today...

Racism- All over the world

Hi again! We have come across and seen many differences, nationalities, cultures, religions, races all over the world. All individuals are different from one another based on their differences and background. Those differences help us to learn about different traditions. But, what people do is, use them to create downfall of some people especially based on their colour, caste and religion.                                                    I don't understand one thing. Does it matter? how can someone be so stubborn! logically, according to me, whether it can be a credit, a compliment, a job, an appreciation depends purely on talent right? isn't it? we test people's caliber and go according to it. But, judging people simply based on their colour and deciding their position is ridiculous and obnoxious. Matter doesn't stop with judging. It goes beyond judg...
